45 year old woman with previous Left Breast cancer 15 years prior, wherer she had a Left breast lumpectomy, followed by Nipple Sparing mastectomy and staged implant reconstruction. The implant has become hard and painful and distorted the breast and there was a large asymmetry between breasts. She proceeded to breast reconstruction revision with left breast explant, capsulectomy and change of pocket from subpectoral to prepectoral with mesh support and fat graft. The contralateral breast was adjusted with a breast lift and contouring fat graft for better symmetry. Results at 6 months post operation.
48 year old woman with recurrent breast cancer and multiple procedures previously including skin reducing on the right and left total mastectomies and TRAM flap reconstructions bilaterally by another surgeon. She was feeling loss of feminism and had problems with self-body image. She had 2 sessions of fat grafting and scar adjustments and right breast lift/reduction to improve symmetry. She then decided to proceed with a further enhancement and had Bilateral Breast Augmentation with implants and fat grafting in sub flap positions. She felt that her body image was significantly enhanced following the last procedure. Results at 6 months post last procedure.
54 year old woman with bilateral breast cancer 23 years prior. She had total mastectomies initially and then followed with delayed Implant and LD (Latissimus Dorsi) flap reconstruction with a couple of revisions since then. She developed Left implant rupture due to the age of implants causing pain, breast asymmetry and anxiety. She underwent implant revision procedure and redo bilateral hybrid breast reconstruction with volume upsizing with implants under existing flaps and fat grafting. Results at 6 months post-op.
