Breast Reduction Surgery
If you have large or sagging breasts, breast reduction surgery (mammoplasty) can add increased comfort and happiness in your day to day life.
That’s mainly because of one simple reason! This surgery can provide relief for back, neck and shoulder pain as well as unwanted attention to the chest. Interestingly it is never too late to have this procedure, as the benefits are self-evident.
Breast reduction mammoplasty is a very common procedure that can dramatically change many women’s lives. The great part of this operation is that change is noticeable immediately postoperatively. There is a significant alleviation in most women’s symptoms, including back pain, neck pain, shoulder pain, improvements in self-confidence, and the ability to participate in sports and wear clothing of their choice.
The breast reduction mammoplasty procedure can be done with many different approaches; most importantly it involves different “pedicles,” which are bundles of blood vessels, which keep the breast alive. Various pedicles produce different results in aesthetic appearance. However, not all breast reduction mammoplasty procedures are created equally. It is essential to understand that there are certain limitations to different techniques that can be used to reduce the breast. Many of these have been tried around the world for decades. We now know that an anchor-type incision utilising a superior rotary pedicle internally achieves the best results for actual breast mammoplasties reductions. This is my preferred approach as well.
At Breast & Body Clinic, we prefer the most reliable pedicles, which provide the best aesthetic results for our patients.
