Minor Skin Conditions
This group of skin conditions represents a very common pathology. They include lipomas, sebaceous, epidermal and trichilemmal cysts, fibromas, granulomas and foreign bodies as well as other less common pathologies.
They are rarely a threat to life but can affect the quality of life by becoming inflamed and infected, growing to large size, becoming unsightly, or being multiple and tender/painful.
Therefore, any of the above symptoms are indications for their removal. Typically these are performed as day only surgeries and sometimes can be performed in the office setting, depending on the exact scenario.
If you develop any of these lumps or bumps and require an opinion as to whether surgery is warranted, we will be happy to discuss this with you and to help you plan any treatment.
