Breast asymmetry is a frequent problem that affects a high percentage of women, and while it may not be a concern for some, it can become an issue for others. Every woman has a unique experience with breast asymmetry, which can involve pronounced discrepancies in breast size, uneven nipples, tuberous breasts, and other widespread issues. Breast asymmetry can be brought on by various conditions, including breast hypoplasia, Poland syndrome, rib cage malformations, and natural ageing. These difficulties can arise at birth or throughout a patient’s life, affecting them in several ways.

The procedure aims to rectify any asymmetry and aiming to create breasts that are as similar in size and shape. Depending on each breast’s variances and unique qualities, either one or both may need correction. There may also be a need for a combination of implants and fat grafting. However, these treatment components will be covered during your consultation with Specialist Breast surgeon Dr Michael Yunaev.
